Ahmet Ertegun

What'd I Say: The Atlantic Story

Ahmet Ertegun is one of the founders of Atlantic Records. In the early 1940s. Ertegun met Herb Abramson, an A&R man for National Records. Together they formed Atlantic Records in 1947.

Ahmet Ertegun was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1987.

Curtis Armstrong portrayed Ertegun in the 2004 film Ray.
