| Alyssa Milano was born on December 19, 1972, in Brooklyn, New York.
When Milano was seven, her babysitter, a dancer, took Alyssa along to an open audition for the touring company of the play "Annie." The dancer didn't get a part, but Alyssa was signed on to play an orphan.
After "Annie," Milano worked on Broadway and filmed TV commercials. At ten years of age, she landed a role on the TV series "Who's the Boss?." The show ran for eight years on ABC.
In the 1990s, Milano recorded a few albums which were popular in Japan and Europe.
Milano's appeared in several feature films including Fear, Glory Days, and the critically acclaimed, Hugo Pool.
