Amy Wright

Amy Wright was born on April 15, 1950. Wright was a schoolteacher before moving to New York, New York in the mid-1970s to pursue an acting career.

In New York, Wright joined Rip Torn's Sanctuary Theater and appeared in regional theater productions. She made her Broadway debut in 1980.

In the late 1970s, Wright began appearing in films. Her films include The Deer Hunter, Breaking Away, Stardust Memories, and The Accidental Tourist.
