Anthony Spilotro

Casino The film Casino is loosely based on the story of Anthony Spilotro ("Tony the Ant"). Spilotro, allegedly the "point man" for the Chicago mob in Las Vegas, was accused, but not convicted, of seven murders. In 1986, the bodies of Spilotro and his brother Michael were found buried in an Indiana cornfield, a week before Spilotro was to stand trial for burglary in Las Vegas.
