| Arthur Schnabel was born on April 17, 1882, in Lipnik, Hungary. He died on August 15, 1951.
As a child, Schnable studied piano and music with Theodor Leschetizky and Eusebius Mandyczewski. At eight, Schnable moved to Germany and began his professional career as a pianist.
In the late 1910s, Schnabel toured the United States, Russia, and Europe.
In the 1930s, Schnable left Germany for England then the US. After the war, Schnabel resumed touring internationally until his death in 1951. Visitor Comments: |
