Open
Blues Image was formed in Tampa, Florida, in 1966. It consisted of Michael Pinera, Manuel Bertematti, Joe Lala, Malcolm Jones, and Frank Konte. The band signed with Atco in 1969. In 1970, they released the album Open which spawned the hit song "Ride Captain Ride." The group broke up after that.
