Bertelsmann Music Group (BMG) is the global music division of Bertelsmann AG with over 200 labels in 54 countries. It is the parent company of RCA.

In 2004, BMG merged its recording labels with Sony to form Sony BMG Music Entertainment, the second-largest record company in the world. The combined company controls about 30 percent of the world music market with combined sales of more than $8 billion.
