Eddie Is a Punk: The Courtship of Eddie - Recordings from 1970-1997

Brandon Cruz was born on May 28, 1962, in Bakersfield, California. At age seven, he began playing "Eddie Corbett" in the television series "The Courtship of Eddie's Father".

After "Eddie's Father" Cruz appeared in a few movies and made guest appearances on TV shows then began working behind the scenes on TV shows and films such as "South Park."

In the late 1970s, Cruz became interested in punk music after his grandmother bought him the first Sex Pistols album. Cruz began singing punk rock with several bands including Dr. Know.

Currently Cruz is touring as the vocalist for The Dead Kennedys.
