Lucius Foster was born on July 12, 1957. Buddy began acting in commercials and TV shows at eight years of age.

Buddy played "Mike Jones" in a couple of episodes of "The Andy Griffith Show" then in the series "Mayberry R.F.D."

Buddy provided the voice for the "Count's Son" in the animated TV movie The Point!.
