Burton Lane

Burton Lane worked with many lyricists including Edgar Yipsel Harburg, Ira Gershwin, and Ralph Freed. Lane composed the music for a number of standards including "That Old Devil Moon", ^"How About You^"", and "On a Clear Day You Can See Forever".

Lane was also president of the American Guild of Authors and Composers (now the Songwriters Guild of America) from 1957 to 1966.
