| Claudine Georgette Longet was born on January 29, 1942, in Paris, France. Longet met singer Andy Williams in Las Vegas, Nevada, and the two were married a short time later in 1961.
She began making guest appearances on television in shows such as "Combat",
"Hogan's Heroes",
"Dr. Kildare",
"Mr. Novak",
and "12 O'Clock High".
Longet co-starred in the NBC TV series "Run for Your Life". In 1965, she sang "Meditation" on the show. This lead to a recording contract with A&M records.
In 1968, Longet starred opposite Peter Sellers in Blake Edwards's The Party.
Longet and Andy Williams separated in 1970 and Longet became romantically involved with Olympic skier Spider Sabich.
On March 21, 1976, Sabich returned home from skiing. Longet says she showed Sabich a .22 caliber pistol and asked him how to use it to protect herself and her kids. She claims that the gun accidentally fired killing the skier.
