Dallas Bartley

Bartley was born in 1916 in Cave Springs, Missouri. As a child, Bartley learned to play violin, guitar, piano, and string bass. After high school, Bartley moved to Chicago, Illinois. In 1940, Bartley joined Louis Jordan's Tympany Five. He co-wrote "Early In The Morning" which was recorded by Jordan. In 1943, Bartley's left the Tympany Five and formed his own group, the Small Town Boys. Bartley died in 1979 at the age of 63. Visitor Comments:  Add Your Comments About This Page ...
