| Dan Peek was born on November 1, 1951, in Panama City, Florida.
Peek's father was in the Air Force and moved often. Peek attended 18 different schools, graduating from high school in London, England.
In London, Dan met Dewey Bunnell and Gerry Beckley. The three later formed the group America.
After Peek left the group, he recorded a solo album, All Things Are Possible which received two Grammy nominations.
