When Casino was filmed, Dave Courvoisier was a news anchor for KVBC-TV in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Dave Courvoisier is currently the news anchor for KFVS-TV in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Courvoisier returned to Missouri in 2001 after working at KVBC in Las Vegas where he was an eight-time winner of Las Vegas's Favorite Newscaster Award.
