Diane Lampert

Diane Lampert wrote the song "Silent Running" for the film of the same name. Performed by Joan Baez, the song was nominated for an Academy Award.

Peter Farrow and Diane Lampert wrote the lyrics for the musical TV movie, O'Halloran's Luck which aired March 12, 1961, on NBC. The film starred Art Carney and Barbara Cook.

In 1975, Peter Farrow and Diane Lampert teamed with Nat Adderley to create a "folk musical" called "Big Man" based on the tale of the mythical hero, John Henry. It was released on record by Fantasy in 1975. Joe Williams sang the title role and Randy Crawford made her recording debut on the album.
