Ed Bishop

George Bishop was born on June 11, 1932, in Brooklyn, New York.

Bishop changed his name to Ed Bishop when he became an actor because there was already an actor named George Bishop.

Bishop was in the Army from 1952 to 1954. After that, he attended Boston University and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in theater in 1960. He then studied drama at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art.
