The Flamin' Groovies were formed in 1965 in the San Francisco, California, area by guitarist Cyril Jordan and singer Roy A. Loney.
Epic released an album by the group, Supersnazz in 1968, but it didn't sell very well. The group's next two albums were released by Kama Sutra and also didn't sell well.
Loney left the group in 1971. Jordon added Chris Wilson to the group and moved the band to England where their records were more popular.
Dave Edmunds produced songs for the group's next album, Shake Some Action which was released in 1976. Visitor Comments: |
