| Florence LaRue was born on February 4, 1944, in Plainsfield, New Jersey.
LaRue was an original member of The Versatiles which became the 5th Dimension in 1966 at the suggestion of Johnny Rivers who had just signed them to his new label, Soul City. The group released a string of hits including "Up Up and Away," "Wedding Bell Blues," and "Aquarius/Let The Sun Shine In."
LaRue continues tour with the 5th Dimension and has begun a solo recording career.
