Harry Carroll

Harry Carroll was born born November 28, 1892, in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Carroll played piano in movie houses while in grade school. After high school he went to New York, New York where he worked in Tin Pan Alley as an arranger while he performed his own songs at clubs each evening.

From 1914 through 1917, Carroll was the director of ASCAP.
