Jodie Foster

Alicia Christian Foster was born on November 19, 1962, in Los Angeles, California. She began acting in commercials and on TV at a very young age.

In 1975, Foster played the role of a young prostitute the film Taxi Driver for which she received an Academy Award nomination.

Foster received Oscar awards for her performances in The Accused and in The Silence of the Lambs.
