| Gil Hamilton was born on August 15, 1941, in Leesburg, Florida. A friend who worked as a road manager for the Drifters recommended to Hamilton that he move to New York. He did and ended up singing with the group for a short time.
Producer Teddy Vann wrote "Loop de Loop" and suggested the name "Johnny Thunder." "Loop de Loop" reached number four on the pop charts.
Thunder continues performing including several performances a year aboard cruise ships. Visitor Comments:Links:Connections:Johnny Thunder ... |
