| Jon Brion showed an interest in music from an early age. Brion's mother was a singer and his father was director of Yale University's concert and marching bands.
Brion's interest in music adversely affected his performance in school and at 17, Brion "dropped out" to become a musician.
Although Brion performs regularly (every Friday night) at Largo, a club in Los Angeles, California, he is best known as a producer (Fiona Apple, Aimee Mann, and Rufus Wainwright) and film score composer (Punch-Drunk Love, Magnolia). Visitor Comments: |
