| Kathleen Wilhoite was born on June 29, 1964, in Santa Barbara, California.
As Wilhoite grew up, she was interested in music and in acting. After high school, she enrolled in the Drama School at the University of Southern California. Shortly afterward, she made he film debut in Private School. While acting in films and on TV, Wilhoite continued writing songs and recording.
