| Keith Emerson formed The Nice when he was in his twenties. The group blended classical, blues, jazz, and rock. Emerson played the Hammond Organ. The Nice recorded several albums.
After The Nice broke up in 1970. Emerson formed Emerson, Lake, & Palmer with Greg Lake and Carl Palmer.
ELP broke up in 1979. In 1980, Emerson released his first solo album, Honky, and an album called The Christmas Album.
