Gonna Take a Miracle

Before recording Nilsson Sings Newman, Harry Nilsson considered recording a collection of Laura Nyro's songs.

At 17 Nyro wrote "And When I Die" which was recorded by Peter, Paul and Mary. This was followed by a string of hits recorded by The Fifth Dimension, Three Dog Night, and others.
