Lena Tabori was born on August 23, 1944, in Stockholm, Sweden. She is the daugher of actress/model Viveca Lindfors.

In 1968, when she was 24, Tabori posed topless with her mother.

For many years, Tobori was president of the publishing house Stewart, Tabori & Chang.

Tabori is one of the producers of Ziggy's Gift which features an original song by Harry Nilsson.
