The Year of Living Dangerously
Linda Hunt worked for several years in New York, New York, as a stage manager, director, and actress - eventually winning two Obie awards and a Tony nomination.

Hunt's first film was Popeye in 1980. In her second film, The Year of Living Dangerously (1983), she played a male Indonesian dwarf and won a Best Supporting Actress Oscar.
