Jagger and Keith Richards formed the Rolling Stones in 1962. Jagger released his first solo album in 1985, and continues to record and tour with the Rolling Stones.
Originally, Harry Nilsson was chosen to sing the backing vocals for Carly Simon's "You're So Vain." Mick Jagger visited the recording session with Simon and Nilsson and, after Jagger sang for a bit, Nilsson realized that the song worked better with Jagger.
