Paul Dooley

Paul Dooley was an aspiring cartoonist before joining the improvisational comedy group Second City. On TV, he appeared in TV series as "Get Smart" and "The Dom DeLuise Show". He was also a writer for "The Electric Company". Later he appeared as the father in the film Breaking Away in 1978 then appeared in several Robert Altman films.
