| After graduating from the Royal Academy of Music, Paul Buckmaster played in jazz ensembles in and around London. In 1969, he was hired to work as an arranger for David Bowie's Space Oddity. Through the 1970s and 1980s, Buckmaster conducted and arranged music for many of music's biggest stars including
the Rolling Stones,
Elton John,
Harry Nilsson,
Stevie Nicks,
Carly Simon,
Ozzy Osborne,
Lionel Ritchie,
Tori Amos,
Patti LaBelle,
Miles Davis,
Paula Abdul,
and Celine Dion.
