| Peter Onorati was born on 1954 in Boonton, New Jersey.
Onorati attended Lycoming College and received a degree in Business Administration. An NCAA all-conference wide receiver, he later played in the World Football League. After the WFL folded, Onorati attended Fairleigh Dickinson University and received an MBA.
After several years working for companies including the Ford Motor Company and McCall's magazine, Onorati dropped out of the business world to perform comedy onstage then persure an acting career.
In the late 1980s, he joined the cast of the TV series "Kate & Allie." He was also a regular in several other TV shows including "Cop Rock." He starred in the short-lived TV series "Joe's Life."
Onorati has appeared in many films including Postcards from the Edge and Rocket Man.
