| Philip Bruns began acting on television in the early 1960s. He was a regular performer in the TV series "Jackie Gleason and His American Scene Magazine" and appeared as a guest in many shows including "Car 54, Where Are You?," "Wild Wild West," and "Here's Lucy."
In the 1970s, Bruns continued appearing on TV in many guest roles and also appeared in several films such as The Out-of-Towners, Jenny, and The Great Waldo Pepper. He also had a recurring role in the TV series "Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman."
