Pickwick
From the mid 1960s to the mid 1990s, Pickwick was the king of the budget record labels. In addition to budget reissues of albums licensed from other companies, Pickwick produced a series of albums called Top of the Pops. Each budget-priced LP contained covers of recent hits performed by studio musicians. Eight Top of the Pops albums were issued every year for 12 years, one every six weeks.
