Pleasures of the Harbor

In 1967, Derek Taylor, then a publicist for A&M Records sent a copy of the just-released Phil Ochs album Pleasures of the Harbor to president Lyndon Johnson. A few days later, Taylor received a note from LBJ's personal secretary thanking him for his "kindness" in sending the album. A&M used the note as a graphic for ads for the album in underground newspapers for the next month.
