Richard Nash

After his parents died, Richard Nash attended a boarding school where he learned to play the bugel and trumpet. Later switched to playing trombone.

Nash studied classical trombone before touring with Billy May and other bands. In the early fifties, Nash married and moved with his new bride to Los Angeles. In LA, Nash played on sessions for Nat King Cole, Anita O'Day, Harry James, Ella Fitzgerald, Stan Kenton, Frank Sinatra, Kenny Rogers, and many others.
