| Ritchie Yorke has written about rock music the Sunday Mail, for Australia's second-largest newspaper, for the past 15 years.
During 20 years in Canada (from about 1966 to 1986), Yorke wrote several books including Axes Chops & Hot Licks about the Canadian rock music Scene, The Definitive Led Zeppelin Biography,
Into the Music: The Van Morrison Biography, and The History of Rock 'n Roll.
Yorke has contributed aritcles to most of the major music journals including Rolling Stone, Circus, New Musical Express, Melody Maker, Jazz & Pop, Mojo, Juke, Go-Set, and Rhythms. He has also written liner notes for many artists including Aretha Franklin, B.B. King, The Beatles, King Curtis, Big Mama Thornton, Etta James, Buddy Holly, and
