Sally Field

Sally Field was born on November 6, 1946, in Pasadena, California.

Field starred on TV in Gidget in 1965 and played The Flying Nun from 1967 to 1970.

In 1976, Field won an Emmy for playing a woman with 17 distinct personalities in the TV movie Sybil.

In the late 1970s she was romanticly linked with Burt Reynolds and co-starred with him in Smokey and the Bandit and Hooper.

In 1979, Field played the title character in Norma Rae for which she won the Best Actress Oscar. She won another Oscar for 1984's Places in the Heart.
