Shannyn Sossamon

Shannon Marie Kahoolani Sossamon was born on October 3, 1979, in Honolulu, Hawaii. Sossamon's family moved to Reno, Nevada, when Sossamon was 3. After she graduated high school, she moved to Los Angeles, California, to pursue a career as a dancer. While working as a DJ at a party, she met a casting director who encouraged her to try acting.
