Forrest Gump (Two-Disc Special Collector's Edition)

Stephen Bridgewater was born on August 24, 1953, in Hutchinson, Kansas.

Bridgewater began working as a radio broadcaster when he was 14. While working as a broadcaster, Bridgewater wrote and acted in commercials. In 1987, he sent a tape to director Terry Gilliam who hired Bridgewater to coach Jeff Bridges for his role as a radio announcer in The Fisher King.

Bridgewater made appearances in The Fisher King and other films such as Forrest Gump and Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.

Bridgewater has also written and produced the scrrenplays for several TV movies.
