Tiger Haynes

Tiger Haynes was born December 13, 1907, in St. Croix in the U.S. Virgin Islands. He died on February 15, 1994, in New York, New York.

Actor Haynes was once a prize fighter. He was also a musician. His group, the Three Flames, hosted a radio show on NBC in the mid-1940s.

Haynes played the "Tin Man" on stage and in the film version of The Wiz. He appeared in several other films including Moscow on the Hudson and Jungle Fever.
