| Tovah Feldshuh is a graduate of Sarah Lawrence College and the winner of the McKnight Fellowship in Acting to the Tyrone Guthrie Theatre where she started her career under British director Michael Langham.
Feldshuh is the sister of playwright and director David Feldshuh.
For her work on the New York Stage, Feldshuh has won three Tony nominations for Best Actress, three Drama Desk awards,
four Outer Critics Circle awards,
and The Obie.
Feldshuh appeared on Broadway as Prime Minister Golda Meir in William Gibson's "Golda's Balcony." She also had roles in "The Vagina Monologues" and
Cyrano."
Feldshuh was nominated for an Emmy for her portrayal of Helena the Czech in the 1978 TV mini-series "Holocaust." Feldshuh had a recurring role in the TV show "Law and Order."
