| Warren Zevon was born on January 24, 1947, in Chicago, Illinois.
Zevon released a solo album in 1969 then returned to session work. In the early 1970s, Zevon served as the Everly Brothers's pianist. Jackson Browne produced Zevon's 1976 self-titled album which was critically praised. In 1978, his single "Werewolves of London" became a world-wide hit.
In the summer of 2002, Zevon was diagnosed with lung cancer. Doctors told him he had just a few months to live. But Zevon lived another year, and completed an album, before passing away on September 7, 2003. Visitor Comments:Connections:Warren Zevon ... |
