| 2002-01-10 12:33:44 BMG's Buddha label, which reissued several of Harry's albums on CD, has been replaced by a new label, BMG Heritage. Alex Miller ("I love Harry Nilsson and I could talk about him all day") has been tapped to head the new label. Heritage is planning a November re-issue of The Point! on CD, remastered with unreleased bonus tracks and other treats.
According to Curtis Armstrong, who is working with Heritage on the CD reissue, Heritage is trying to arrange for a simultaneous DVD release of the film and/or a book version of the story. None of this is "official," of course, and is certainly subject to change.
Update: The Point! is available on CD from Amazon.com and other retailers. The animated film version of The Point! is available on DVD and VHS.
