| 2002-12-25 11:59:45 The Boston Rock Opera will perform Harry Nilsson's classic album The Point! in concert at Boston's First Night festival, December 31, 2002, at the Park Plaza Castle.
Performances at 4:00pm, 7:30pm and 9:20pm. First Night buttons are available through First Night and many venues throughout Boston. The First Night festival features include the show, ice sculptures, a parade, fireworks, and 250 performance groups.
BRO's homage to the classic 1970 album features vocalists, a six piece band, dancers and puppetry and is a tribute to Nilsson's fable of a round headed boy born into a pointed world.
