| Litchfield County Times United States August 26, 2004 Tamara Tragakiss interviews Susan Lang, a social studies teacher who performs in a "free-range acoustic music" band.
"The trick is to be a cover band in a way that's unique and interesting," she said. "We start by being acoustic. [Then] we make the songs our own." For instance, the band performs Harry Nilsson's "Put the Lime in the Coconut" with a guitar, ukulele, ankle bells and a simple reed. "It's obviously the same song but not like you've ever heard."
