Oblio is a rock group in Nashville named for the character in Harry Nilsson's The Point!. Terry Price, a member of the trio, Terry Price was recently diagnosed with Bell's Palsy. To help him with his medical expenses, his friends have organized a benefit at The Mercy Lounge on July 2, 2009. At the concert, dozens of local artists will be performing the music of Harry Nilsson.
Scheduled performers include The Features, Heypenny, James Wallace and the Naked Light, David Mead, Daniel Tashian (The Silver Seas), Carl Broemel (My Morning Jacket), Grimey, Marc Pisapia, Jon Rogers (Hotpipes), and Oblio.
Admission is $10 with all the proceeds going to help Terry Price.
