| Mark Hudson and Jimmy Webb spoke at Harry Nilsson's funeral. In attendance were Harry's wife, Una Nilsson, and all of Harry's children.
Others at the funeral included Barbara Bach, Gerry Beckley, Micky Dolenz, Robert Florczak, Henry Gibson, George Harrison, Jim Keltner, Jeff Lynne, Van Dyke Parks, George Segal, and Paul Williams.
Aftershocks from the recent Northridge Earthquake rumbled during Harry's funeral. A joke made the rounds that the earthquake was the result of Harry discovering that there are no bars in heaven. Guitarist Laurence Juber tells the story as an introduction to his beautiful instrumental tribute to Nilsson called "When Harry Got to Heaven."
Harry Nilsson is buried at the Valley Oaks Memorial Park in Westlake Village, California (Garden of Gethsemane, Plot 830, Grave A).
