| 2005-12-12 15:26:21 WHO IS HARRY NILSSON (And Why Is Everybody Talkin' About Him?), a documentary about Harry Nilsson, will premiere on February 6, 2006, at the Santa Barbara Film Festival. The documentary includes appearances by Ringo Starr, Yoko Ono, Dustin Hoffman, Randy Newman, the Smothers Brothers, and others associated with the late singer/songwriter.
Written and directed by John Scheinfeld of LSL Productions, "Who Is Harry Nilsson" follows Nilsson's music career and his life from his early hits as a songwriter to his gun-control activism in the wake of the murder of John Lennon, his friend.
