Montreal Gazette Canada December 2, 2003 Bernard Perusse's review of a one-man show starring Gregory Charles begins with a rather vicious swipe at Harry Nilsson:
Gregory Charles's most obvious inspirations might be Stevie Wonder, Nat King Cole and Sammy Davis, Jr., but there's a superb irony in the fact that the high-energy entertainer's all-time favourite album is Harry Nilsson's A Little Touch of Schmilsson in the Night. Nilsson's genius burned brightly for about 10 years, but he succumbed dramatically and publicly to the bottle without ever doing a live performance. By the time he was 35, he was pretty much washed up.
