Ringo Starr's "Painting Is My Madness" to be Published in June

Ringo Starr's Painting Is My Madness, a book featuring the drummer's computer art paintings, will be published on June 19, 2008.

The book's title is based on the name of a song Harry Nilsson wrote for Ringo's 1981 Stop and Smell the Roses album - ^"Drumming is My Madness^".

Only 3000 copies of Painting Is My Madness will be printed. A special hand-signed edition will also be published which includes an eight-inch by ten-inch reproduction of Ringo's artwork. The hand-signed deluxe edition will be limited to only 200 copies.
